FLY-IN and SWAP MEET

Flying all day, April 18, 2026, Saturday, 9am until sunset on our field in Charles City, Va. Bring the family!
● Fly your aircraft on our field (650 ft. grass runway) All aircraft welcomed
● Plenty of parking space
● Lunch available
● Spectators Free and Welcomed
● 50/50 Raffle
● Trainers onsite to fly Buddy Flights
● Buy-Sell-Trade
● AMA required to fly without a trainer​
 There is a $10.00 landing fee for all pilots wishing to fly, this includes club members!
There will be a $5.00 swap and trade fee imposed

WHAT WE FLY

Whatever your passion in radio control model aircraft, they're all welcome at our field. You'll see beautiful scale airplanes, turbine powered jets, nitro, gas, and electric helicopters—even drones and tiny micro aircraft. Come out to fly or just come out to watch. Want to to see more? WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN US

RARC has one of the best RC model aircraft flying fields in Central Virginia. RARC is small so you'll have plenty of flying time when you're at the field. RARC is heli-friendly—the airplane guys and heli guys get along really well. RARC members are regular guys, always willing to help. OUR FLYING FIELD

The RARC flying field one of the best RC flying sites in Central Virginia. It's located near Shirley Plantation in Charles City County, just 30 minutes southeast of downtown Richmond, VA. Visitors and guest pilots are always welcome. Click here for maps and directions to the RARC model aircraft flying field. Club Meetings are held at the flying field on the second Sunday of each month, around 2 pm, weather permitting.
